FTN is the national sector organization for textile services and the industrial textile cleaning services.

Responsible for content services to companies within the industry;
Coordinating, consulting, and implementing of industry activities;
Coordination of projects in the field of Health & Environment;
Coaching, encouraging and convincing management-assistants (college graduates level with several years of working experience);
National and International coordination;
Substantive role in the preparation of (international) workgroup and board meetings.
Module Environment & Technology (08-2011/07-2012)
Coordination, advise and excuting activities in the field of Environment & Technology in collaboration with engineers
from subsidiary organization for R&D, ‘TKT’;
Project ‘Top Sectors’, innovation program of the Ministry of Economic Affairs;
- Substantive preparation, coordination and connection with the national programs of the Top Sectors: Energy,
Chemistry, IT, LSH & Logistics;
- Joining within 2 months instead of regular annual registration process;
- First aimed collective innovation investment by most members of the sector organization of €22.000.000,- for a
period of 5 years with by a Letter of Intent for an annual investment over €1.750.000,- matched by the government
with €3.500.000,- -.
Project Roadmap Textile Service in 2030, energy conservation program of NL Agency (Ministry of Economy);
- Member of projectteam (including acting presidency) consisting of K+V consulting agency, Dutch government
organization NL Agency and industry association FTN.
- Completion Report for the realization of an energy saving of 80% by the entire sector in 2030;
Several International innovationprojects from the FP7 Framework Program of the European Union, a.o. ‘Wash & Load’ project, re-functionalization of textile and tracking & tracing. FTN was Task Leader and Workpackageleader;
- Process-based content preparation and implementation Tasks and Work Packages;
- Task leading.

- Alternate member of the Scientific Council / Supervisory Board TKT: signaling function at half year meeting;
- Reporting to director also secretary-general of the FTN board on latest innovation and technical solutions
Tasks EFSM, engineering of fibrous smart materials, a joint venture of FTN, Vematex (trade association of suppliers of products and services for textitle –care- industry), Modint (trade association textile and fashion industry), Saxion University and AEX quoted Royal Dutch Ten Cate, supporting the chair of Textile Technology at the University of Twente. www.efsm.nl
- Overall contribution to the International EFSM conference in Brussels on the structure of international innovation;
- International carry out of the Report on the Roadmap of Textile Service 2030
- Substantive contribution to the Logistics workshop at the International EFSM conference in Brussels;
- Presentation of a new businessmodel for new logistic structures saving up to 10% of logistic costs for the entire
sector, in association with the leading National Research Agency, TNO.

- TIPS, joined project from a consortium of National Sector Organizations of several European countries by the
Intelligent Energy Europe Program from the EU Commission
- Reporting latest developments and innovation at “Messe Frankfurt” for FTN / Cinet;
- International carry out of the Report on the Roadmap of Textile Service 2030
- Preparation of the CINET participation in the CSR program of the United Nations, “Global Compact plaN”.
FTN B.V. Purchase (08-2011/07-2012)
Coordination, monitoring, advising, and implementation of the annual purchase of energy for about 45% of the sector:
- Approximately 45,000 MWh of electricity;
- Approximately 350,000 MWh gas.
Organizing and drafting of framework agreements;
Coordination of advice from Consultancy firms and Advisory Council on purchasing power;
Preparation of analyzations;
Presentation strategy during meeting, about 70 attendees.
Module Labour & Organization (08-2011/07-2012)
Coordinating, advising and execution of activities in the field of Labor and Organization;
Advising explanation Collective Labor Agreement (CLA) provisions and contract clauses for companies, both for industry
association FTN as branch organization for laundries NETEX;
Rollout execution protocol CLA:
- Consult stakeholders such as trade unions FNV and CNV;
- Conducting workshops on management and board level within the industry:
o Updating Risk, Identify & Evaluation tool for working conditions
o Flexible work adjusted to stage of life
o Disabled young people
CSR including qualification of the sector organization for the United Nations Global Compact Program:
- Coordination of participation to the program;
- Presentation of the results at annual meeting with 150 attendees, management and directors and moderated
by Dutch celebrity Tineke Verburg
- Coordination of quality requirements with respect to the method affiliated with companies in the industry.
