• The planning and creating classroom activities and assignments that are appropriate to students’ learning ability • The preparation for state exams (9,11 grades) • Conducting up to 7 classes a day • Initiate, nurture and moderate classroom discussions • Maintaining accurate daily attendance records • Promptly responding to inquiries from the parents of any pupils • Communicating and consulting with the parents of pupils • Safeguarding the health and safety of pupils whilst they are in the classroom • Participating in school extracurricular clubs and societies • Assisting trainee and junior teachers in fulfilling their duties • Addressing all teaching problems and student shortcomings promptly and effectively • Marking and monitoring every students' work and setting targets for future progress • The arrangement of writing and oral exams • Attending of parents’ meetings and “parents’ days” • Cooperation with other teaching staff to set goals, objectives and methods • Establishing effective classroom management practices • Giving feedback to pupils and writing progress reports for their parents • Identifying special needs pupils and those with learning disabilities • Responding to misbehavior in an effective but measured way • Preparing and setting tests, examination papers and exercises • Organizing school parties, competitions and field trips

• Supervising students before, during and after school • Cooperating with native speakers colleagues from Canada, GB, Australia and the US • Collecting and checking students’ homework and course work • Keeping accurate student registers and attendance records • Attending parents evenings • Preparing students for tests and examinations • Making effective use of online, audio and video resources to achieve academic aims and objectives • Involved in conducting up to 5 classes every day • Researching potential new areas of study • Participating in school departmental meetings
