Technical Lead (Lead Consultant)
Custom implementation of products solutions in Underwriting, Billing, Claims and Policy center for insurance domain .Job role involves consulting and managing solution implementation for aforesaid business area.
Involved in all phases like Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and controlling and finally closing solution delivery with all approved deliverable.
Role involves creating all documents required as per CMMI guidelines like project charter , Requirement Document , Traceability matrix , Quality guidelines and project management plan which includes Scheduling , budgeting and resource planning etc.
Managing stakeholders throughout the implementation process from Kick off meeting to daily status meeting, SMART time tracking system and issue tracking. Also updating the project plan time to time as per the approved changed request and deviations.
Guidewire (Integration)
• Involved in development of plugins both internal and custom .
• Worked on event messaging and created rules (pre-update , post-update validations), to meet claim processing requirements.
• Created batch jobs using Gosu Script.
• Involved in hosting and consuming web-services for claim center for both external and internal vendors
• Good knowledge on extending and adding new entities in data model, batch jobs.
• Involved in entity mappings between ClaimCenter and other systems.
• Created GUnit test cases for unit testing of code.
• Worked on POC for different client .
• Implemented / Integrated features like document management, Accounts Payable , VIN verification , Address verification etc.
Guidewire (Configuration)
• Involved in developing significant configuration enhancements and new components,
• Worked on GOSU coding, creating new rules, PCFs, extensions, enhancements etc.
• Involved in core development activities include BSD walkthrough/discussion, requirement analysis, time estimation, tracking issues and their resolution etc.
• Configure business rules and other business logic in Gosu (Guidewire's scripting language)

Business Analysis:
• Gathering requirements through client interaction, to understand their demands and needs and thereby providing best solution possible.
• Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Building wire frames of the application look after the information architecture, content management and conducting surveys to understand user experience.
• Software prototyping to capture accurate requirements with the help of application blueprint & functions.
• Executing impact analysis to gauge the repercussions of several change requests from the clients, on the developed application and its functionalities. Thereby, devising an effective and efficient means of documentation.
• Interacting with on & off shore teams to facilitate knowledge transfer of the requirements for better understanding and clarity of the application.
• Participating in the preparation of test plan, and user acceptance testing; attending the meetings with Business Managers and other Business Analysts and gaining knowledge of several business process and process plans.
• Responsible for creating test plans and monitoring the testing team during UAT/SIT for efficient results at the time of test execution.
