Profile/Career Objective I’d like to work at the yachts as a deckhand following the aim to become a professional skipper of the yachts in the future. Just now I’d like to have a permanent job but would not refuse a seasonal contract. I have the experience at the sailing boats but would not refuse to change for the new experience aboard the motor yachts. The last vessel I was crewed at was of rather large size – 2257 tons of displacement and the large size of the boat I’m aware of what is. Previous Maritime Experience Tall ship “Mir”, owned by Academy of Makarov, St. Petersburg. Motor-sail boat, 114 m length, 2257 t displacement, 750 HP Sulzer diesel, 26 square and for-and-aft sails. Contracts - from October 2007 till April 2009 as a deckhand. Manual decking works through the voyages France, Great Britain, Norway, Germany, Netherlands, and Portugal. Including the tall ships’ races, fire-fighting on the fire alarm on June, 2008. “Selenga” (sailing yacht, LOA 18m), private owner, September 2007, deckhand. Manual decking works through the voyages to the Baltic sea. Rescuing man overboard. Tugs “RBT-5” (600 HP diesel, LOA 17m), “BMK-130” (motor craft, 100 HP diesel, LOA 8m), the docks (up to 3000 t displacement), owned by the JSC “Almaz”, St. Petersburg. Contract from September 2006 till June 2007 as a boatswain. Tugs-steering, mooring, towing, docking of the vessels into the docks, operating the capstans, wire-splicing. “Tatiana” (sailing yacht, LOA 8m), private owner, Alexei Fofashkov. August-September 2006, mate. Navigational watches through the voyage Belomorsk-Belomorchanal-Onega-Svirr-Ladoga-Neva-St. Petersburg (about 800 n. miles), steering in the narrow waters, 19 sluices of Belomoechanal, 2 of Svirr, the works about the bout ashore. “Cutty” (sailing yacht, LOA 15m), private owners, September 2005 – August 2006, deckhand.
