Managed several concurrent multinational software projects that allowed users to gather and manage product & price information on the different national websites. Project teams and stakeholders were located in Belgium, Southern Europe and Brazil. By transforming asynchronous processes, a dysfunctional software landscape and disparate data silos into a streamlined processes, we: - decreased time and effort of user data entry by an estimated 20% – 40% by eliminating time on wasted manual synchronizations and duplicate efforts. - improved data quality by 25% by reducing inaccuracies & missing information. - increased amount of consumer information published through the websites. - drastically reduced interfacing & work-around discussions for end-users. - improved ICT productivity and decreased overhead by reducing time and effort for application maintenance and the need for continuous “quick fixes”.

Oversaw the start-to-finish creation of two applications that defined new business processes and automated legally critical, sensitive and strategic internal operations. The first application managed clients’ judicial seizures and inheritance dossiers, while the second managed mandates for business accounts. These applications: - considerably minimized a financial risk of several billion Euros. - allowed management to measure and report on employee productivity. - significantly simplified tasks for end-users and increased worker output by 40%. - reduced costs and environmental impact by decreasing print volume by over 5000 pages daily.

- Supervised the development of an intranet web application that streamlined defunct VB applications into a single application to manage donation operations & asylum seekers in Belgium. The website automated critical processes and enabled users to more efficiently manage a significantly higher turnover of donations and refugees. - Developed a reporting feature for users to generate customized ad-hoc queries and reports on-the-fly to export into multiple formats.

Managed and developed two ad-hoc applications that coordinate and track the distribution & use of uranium in nuclear fuel production worldwide. Both applications streamlined information from disparate and disconnected data sources, allowing managers to finally track and report on critical, sensitive data, as well as to communicate results to their international clients.

Managed one of the development teams of a multi-lingual client-server application that manages insurance contracts within Fortis agencies throughout Belgium. Our team was responsible for user-interface development, while the entire project resourced another 50 COBOL developers.

Directed the development of an energy management intranet application for Europe's leading energy services provider based in France. The application became a business-critical tool that allowed: - gas plants in the UK and Eastern Europe to plan production capacity more efficiently, foresee pipeline & instrument service and maintenance, and report company production and budgets to headquarters. - decision-makers in Paris to unify and better manage subsidiaries.

Created an intranet web application that managed and automated the internal procurement processes of office supplies for the Caisse d’Epargne of Rhône-Alpes.

- Developed the first intranet web sites for the Customer Technology & Sales teams, allowing them to automate reporting and other manual processes. - Equipped the 700+ members of the Sales Force and Customer Technology teams with laptops and IT tools. - Built greater technical expertise and hence improved team output by identifying training needs and organizing formal instruction sessions for sales teams.
