In the DB Netz AG I worked in the field of rail maintenance. I have gained not only solid practical experiences. I have also used my knowledge’s which I have gathered during my studies to make the process of rail maintenance more effective and cost-efficient. My achievement after this year is that I saved my employer around 200.000€ by increasing the quantity by 10 percent of the maintenance volume. To achieve this goal I have to manage different projects simultaneously. Finding technical man power and specify the necessary measures under the terms of technical importance and economy. All that I manage in a team where I bear the main-responsibility. In this team we used the share our experiences to learn from each other to make our work more effective.

During the time of my diploma thesis I gathered information of the market of thermography. Additional I developed work instructions for the potential practical application.

During this trainiship my main part was the documentation of the project especially the on-site measurement. My tasks were also the coordination of projects and the assembling of order specification.

In this time I worked as an industrial mechanic. My task was the leak testing of hydraulic machines.
